Staufberg: Kirche

 L’église ici a été rebâtie après un incendie au 14^e s. Elle est très grande, datant de l’époque où c’était l’église principale pour tous les villages autour, y compris Lenzburg. On y trouve une plaque tombale pour Etienne Brutel, un réfugié huguenot qui fonda une fabrique de textiles et fut « seigneur de Schlafisheim ». 

The church here was rebuilt after a fire in the 14^th century. It’s very large, as it dates from the era when it was the main church for the surrounding villages, including Lenzburg. A plaque by the front door attests to the burial here of Etienne Brutel, a Huguenot refugee who founded a textile factory and was the “lord of Schlafisheim”.
