In the Canton of Zug we often find ourselves walking on paved paths designated for both bikes and people on foot, which is not always easy to handle... And on this long weekend of the Assumption (a public holiday every August 15th in the Catholic cantons), and with beautiful weather, there are a lot of bikes on these paths! Bikes are more popular in the German-speaking part of Switzerland than in the French-speaking part, and it's great to see all these families out biking together... but we are still relieved when we are able to hike among just people on foot...
We finish this first stage in the city of Zug, capital of the canton. Our hotel is not in the center of the city, but we find a little Thai restaurant nearby where the food is excellent (even if the sweet-and-sour sauce is a big spicy for my taste, it's very good).
