The municipal church (Stadtkirche), the main Protestant church in the city of Glarus, is located next to Zwingli Street, where a plaque reminds us that the great leader of the Reformation in Zurich was a parish priest here for ten years at the beginning of his ministry, before heading off to Zurich... 

Sur la table de communion dans l'église, un écriteau invite les visiteurs à prendre un verre d'eau "rafraîchissante" -- une chouette initiative pendant ces jours de chaleur estivale! Et un défi de nous poser la question si nos églises seraient considérées comme "rafraîchissantes" par ceux et celles que nous essayons de toucher...
