Charlemagne

 Selon la légende, Charlemagne aurait construit la première église ici au 8^e siècle, sur les tombes de Saint Félix et Sainte Regula, rescapés de la légion thébaine massacrée à St-Maurice au 3^e s. mais martyrisés ici plus tard.

According to legend, Charlemagne built the first church here in the 8^th century, on the tombs of St. Felix and St. Regula, who escaped from the 3^rd-century massacre of the Theban Legion in St-Maurice, but were later martyred here.
