Jour de pluie légère... et de vent. Le vent du sud-ouest qui apporte le mauvais temps... et qui donne à ma pèlerine des airs de voilier!
Beaucoup de chasseurs dans les champs + les prés ce dimanche... Des tirs de plus en plus près... et des perdrix qui ont compris qu'il vaut mieux se sauver en courant sur le chemin du pèlerin qu'en s'envolant !
Comme je ne me sentais pas assez fort pour faire une étape à 29 km jusqu'à Amettes, je fais ètape à Bruay-la-Buissière, un peu "hors chemin" ... mais plus que je pensais : mon hôtel, de l'autre côté de la ville, est à 5 km de la VF !
A day of light drizzle... and of wind. The wind from the southwest brings the rainclouds... and makes my poncho look like a sail !
Lots of hunters in the fields and meadows this Sunday morning... Shots fired closer + closer... and quail who've understood that they're safer running along the road in front of the pilgrim than taking to the air!
Since I didn't feel strong enough to do a 29-km stage all the way to Amettes, I reserved a place in Bruay-la-Buissière, a bit off the VF trail... but more than I thought : my hotel, on the other side of town, is 5 km from the VF!
