Soeur Lucie me dit au petit déj' que ce sera un jour de "tempête", comme souvent avec la pleine lune... Ça promet!
Avant mon départ, visite de Philippe, spécialiste de l'ancienne route de la Leulène, que lui + d'autres ont essayé de faire adopter pour le GR 145. Il a la même grande carte que Sr Lucie, mais m'explique plus en détail par où passer. C'est surtout entre Tournehem et Guînes que ça change beaucoup par rapport au GR 145.
Je croise un nouveau pèlerin dans les champs: Georges, de Paris, 73 ans, parti de Canterbury il y a une semaine. Nouvel échange d'infos utiles dans les 2 sens; et dommage de ne pas pouvoir cheminer ensemble plus longtemps...
Chouette partage aussi avec Alain, grand-père qui sillonne les chemins agricoles à moto... à la recherche de beaux endroits ... Sympa!
Accueil ce soir chez Denise, en chambre d'hôtes... mais avec un prix spécial pour pèlerins... et beaucoup de partage....
Sister Lucie tells me at breakfast that it's going to be a "stormy" day, at often is around the full moon.... Sounds promising!
Before I set off from the monastery, I receive a visit from Philippe, local resident and specialist on the ancient "Leulène" route that he and others tried to get adopted as the GR 145. He arrives with the same huge map that Lucie showed me yesterday... but he gives me more detailed info about which way to go. It's especially between Tournhem + Guines that it changes a lot with respect to the GR 145.
Around noon, I meet another pilgrim, Georges, 73 years old, who left Canterbury a week ago. Once again, exchange of info useful to each of us; too bad we can't walk together for a few days....
Nice encounter also with Alain, grandfather on a motorbike, driving casually through the fields in search of pretty places and beautiful views...
Finally, a nice welcome at the home of Denise, who rents guest rooms... but at a special rate for pilgrims... And lots to talk about...
