Parti de nouveau sur le chemin, je fais une étape de 15 km. Le dos et l'orteil vont nettement mieux. Pour l'infection, elle m'a moins gêné qu'avant mais est loin encore d'être guérie... On verra si je dois faire une partie de l'étape demain en voiture, car 28 km, c'est peut-être trop...
En chemin aujourd'hui, très chouette rencontre avec la rousse Giovanna, qui m'a invité pour le café après mon pique-nique. Elle aimerait accueillir et soigner des pèlerins dans sa maison, qu'elle est en train de transformer.
Étape ce soir en chambre d'hôte chez Agnès + Jean-François, à Chavanges, près d'une grande église du 12e s. et des maisons "en pans de bois" (= colombages). Plein de discussions et de partage!

Off again on the VF, for a 15-km stage. My back and sore toe are much better. Not as sure for the infection; didn't bother me much during the day but far from healed this evening... Will see if I have to do part of tomorrow's stage in a car, as 28 km might be too much...
On the way today, wonderful encounter with redhead Giovanna, who invited me for coffee after my picnic. She wants to host and care for pilgrims in her home, which she is transforming/renovating.
Staying tonight at guest house of Agnès + Jean-François, in Chavanges, near a large 12th-century church and timbered houses "en pans de bois". Lots of discussion and sharing!
