L'étape sera marquée par des km que je fais en trop, au début et à la fin, à cause de balisages contradictoires ou manquants... Un phénomène courant, hélas, sur cette VF.
Mais aussi de belles rencontres! Comme avec Guy, le barbu, qui vient m'apporter fromage, tomates, pain ... et même une coupe de glace! J'ai déjà mangé mon pique-nique, un pain aux lardons et au comté, mais j'accepte volontiers ses cadeaux et, surtout, l'occasion d'une heure de partage.
Gy est à la croisée des chemins: la VF + deux chemins vers Compostelle: Vézelay + Le Puy. Je passe la soirée avec 2 Australiennes, Virginia + Prue, en route vers Rome après avoir fait divers chemins vers Compostelle. On s'aide mutuellement pour la route à suivre + gîtes possibles vers le nord + le sud.

This stage will be marked by "lost" km, because of contradictory trail markers -- or none -- something I've unfortunately encountered too often on this VF.
But also some great encounters! Like with Guy, the bearded one who brings me cheese, tomatoes, bread... and even an ice cream sundae! I've already finished my picnic, a local bread with bacon and comté cheese, but I gladly accept Guy's offer and, especially, the hour we share talking.
The village of Gy is at a crossroads of pilgrim routes: the VF + 2 routes towards Compostela, Vézelay + Le Puy. I spend the evening with 2 Australians, Virginia + Prue, who are en route for Rome, having already done different ways to Compostela. We help each other re. routes + lodging from here on, to the north and to the south.
