C'est avec tristesse que je dois renoncer à continuer mon pèlerinage pour pour le moment. L'infection et des ampoules à l'intérieur des cuisses ne prennent pas le chemin de la guérison + m'empêchent de marcher correctement. La pluie annoncée pour ces prochains jours ne ferait que ajouter l'humidité au problème, créant un risque que ça s'aggrave.
Un énorme MERCI à tous ceux qui se sont intéressés à mon parcours, m'ont soutenu et/ou accueilli! Toutes ces rencontres restent dans mon coeur... et me donneront de l'inspiration pour ma vie et, peut-être, pour le livre que j'espère enfin écrire maintenant que je suis à la retraite.
Au plaisir de revoir certains d'entre vous bientôt en Suisse, et d'autres sur les chemins quand je pourrai reprendre mes bâtons de pèlerin!

I'm sad to say that I have had to stop my pilgrimage for the moment. The infection and blisters on the inside of my thighs are not healing and prevent me from walking properly. The rain forecast for the next few days would only add humidity to the problem, increasing the risk that things get worse.
A huge THANK YOU to all those who have shown an interest in my journey, have supported me and/or welcomed me in their home or elsewhere. All these encounters remain in my heart ... and will provide inspiration for my life and, maybe, for the book I hope to finally write now that I'm retired.
I look forward to seeing some you soon in Switzerland, and others on the pilgrim trail when I'm able to set off once again.
