Those
who are familiar with my blog know that I often talk about “angels” encountered
along the way. With my daughter Bethany, an experienced pilgrim, it’s the word
we use to talk about people we meet unexpectedly along the way and who offer to
us the help we need just at the right time. There’s no idea of “perfection” nor
moral judgement, just being grateful for these moments that help and encourage
us, especially when it’s completely unexpected. And we will encounter lots of
“angels” to be grateful for along this St. Patrick’s Way! People like Pat, on
our way to Navan Fort…
