Une belle étape ce jeudi, où le soleil est de la partie! Après un copieux petit-déjeuner, nous quittons Piossasco sur une piste cyclable (sauf un bout sans piste où on suit le bord d'un champ...) jusqu'à Sangano. Puis on demande conseil aux indigènes et trouvons de jolis chemins parfois mieux que le parcours décrit dans le guide...
Après pique-nique à Trana, un joli sentier longe la rivière Sangone, puis nous mène au Lago Piccolo où on fait pause et Michel salue les canards sur la plage... De là, des écriteaux "officiels" nous annoncent qu'on suit la "Via dei Pellegrini" le long des 2 lacs ("Piccolo" + "Grande") jusqu'à Avigliana, où nous attend notre B&B.
Le soir, on mange -- bien -- à la buvette du Centre Sportif où ils ont... 5 équipes de base-ball et un terrain digne des USA!
A very nice stage this Thursday, where the sun is with us! After a nice big breakfast, we leave Piossasco along a bike path (except for a section where the bike path disappears and we have to walk along the edge of a field...) as far as Sangano. From there, we ask for advice from the locals along the way and find paths which are sometimes nicer than the route described in the guidebook...
After a picnic lunch in Trana, we follow a pretty trail along the Sangone River, then to Lago Piccolo (little lake) where we take a break and Michel greets the ducks on the beach... From there, "officisl" signs tell us we're following the "Via dei Pellegrini" (Way of the Pilgrims) along the 2 lakes ("Piccolo" + "Grande") to reach Avigliana, where our B&B awaits us.
In the evening, we eat -- well -- at the snack bar of the local Sports Center, where there are... 5 baseball teams and a baseball diamond worthy of the USA!
