Une plus courte étape (16 km) nous permet de visiter un peu la vieille ville d'Annecy avant d'entamer plusieurs km de trottoirs pour sortir de l'agglomération.
Une jolie découverte en route: la basilique de St-Joseph-des-Fins, conçue par l'architecte bénédictin Dom Paul Bellot. Fruit du mouvement de renouveau de l'art sacré des années 1930, elle a enfin été consacrée en 1962.
On retrouve parcours des "Valdesi" à Promery et le suivons jusqu'à près de notre hôtel, situé à côté de l'autoroute... et dépassons les 300 km pour notre marche.
A shorter stage today (16 km) gives us time to visit the old town of Annecy, before walking several km on sidewalks to get out of the city.
Along the way, we discover the St-Joseph-des-Fins Basilica, designed by the Benedictine architect Dom Paul Bellot. A product of the renewal movement in sacred art of the 1930s, it was finally consecrated in 1962.
We link up with the Waldensian Trail in Promery and follow it almost to our hotel, located next to the motorway... and pass the 300-km mark for our hike.
