Une journée grise... pas la peine de monter à la fameuse Sacra di San Michele (sans parler du temps + effort pour ajouter 600m de montée à une étape déjà longue pour nous -- 24 km). On vous montrera une photo par beau temps...
On nous annonce qu'hier Bussoleno -- où on passera demain -- a eu un gros glissement de terrain à cause des pluies abondantes... ça promet!
Une bonne nouvelle: le chemin est plus facile à suivre ces 2 prochains jours, car elle correspond à la Via Francigena (du sud de la France) + au chemin de Compostelle (pour les Italiens), donc sera bien balisé!
Chouette rencontre "oecuménique" à Sant'Antonino di Susa avec Piero, 73 ans, coiffeur, qui nous aide à trouver notre chemin... et récite -- en français! -- 2 poèmes à la Vierge Marie, dont un ècrit par lui. Un homme rayonnant!
A gray day today... not worth climbing up to the famous Sacra di San Michele (not to mention the time + effort to add 600m altitude each direction to a stage already long for us at 24 km). We'll show you a photo taken in good weather...
We learn this morning that Bussoleno -- where we pass tomorrow -- had a big mudslide from heavy rains... Sounds great!
Some good news: our route will be easier to follow these next 2 days, as it coincides with the Via Francigena (from southern France) + with the Camino de Santiago (for the Italians) and so is well-marked!
A nice "ecumenical" encounter in Sant'Antonino di Susa with Piero, 73-year-old barber, who helps us find our way ... and recites -- in French! -- 2 poems to the Virgin Mary, one of which he wrote himself. A man "glowing" with faith!
