L'avant-dernière étape (23 km) est très ensoleillée, il fait chaud... On partage un bon repas avec Michel à Cruseilles, d'où il prendra le bus pour Genève et rentrera en Valais.
Je continue le chemin et, peu après St-Blaise, je vois au loin Genève et son jet d'eau! En même temps je vois les balises pour le GR65, chemin de Compostelle, que je suivais dans l'autre direction en juillet dernier avec Bethany et Katja.
On partage le gîte ce soir avec 3 pèlerins sur le Camino, à Beaumont, où j'avais aussi dormi en 2003 lors de mon pèlerinage à Santiago.
This next-to-last stage (23 km) is very sunny, and hot... Michel and I share a good meal in Cruseilles before he takes a bus for Geneva, on his way back home.
I continue on the trail and, shortly after St-Blaise, I get a view overlooking Geneva and its "jet d'eau"! At the same time, I see the familiar trail markers for the GR65, Way of St. James, or Camino de Santiago. Last July, with Bethany and Katja, we were following the same trail in the opposite direction...
This evening there are 3 other pilgrims with me in the hostel in Beaumont, where I also stayed the night in 2003 on my way to Santiago.
