Notes mercredi/Wednesday 6 juin 2018

Wednesday morning we wait for the rain to stop before leaving. Fabrizio shows us a direct way back to the bike path (= Waldensian Trail), 4 km from his B&B. The mud isn't too bad and after, the bike path is asphalt.
We stop before noon near the old station in Cercenasco, where there is a covered picnic table; we stay until 1 p.m., letting pass lots of rain, sometimes quite hard. The rest of the afternoon is fortunately dry!
Nice encounter at the Trattoria del Sole in Airasca, where we finally eat about 2 p.m. Robert, the boss, is an avid cyclist who plans to do the same Waldensian Trail, with the return trip by a different route!
The hike to our B&B in Piossasco is longer than planned, pushing this stage to 22 km. We're delighted to arrive in the big and magnificent house of Silvia and Roby, the Villa Mirano.
