Après les dénivelés d'hier, on a été contents de faire une étape avec beaucoup de plat... malgré une raide grimpée à la fin.
Magnifique accueil ce soir chez Alain, prof de physique retraité. Avec son épouse Flo, ils soutiennent 16 enfants très pauvres à Madagascar, notamment avec le bénéfice de leur gîte pour pèlerins. Et les chambres et repas sont exceptionnels -- "le meilleur ģîte emtre Genève et Le Puy" selon le guide allemand Outdoor.
Partage multilingue autour de la table ce soir, grâce à la présence de Carina, pèlerine allemand en route pour Santiago. Elle donne une autre dimension à notre voyage...
After the ups and downs of yesterday's hike, we're glad that today's stage is much flatter... despite a steep climb at the end of the day.
Wonderful welcome this evening at the lovely home of Alain, retired professor of physics. With his wife Flo, they support 16 very poor children in Madagascar, notably with the proceeds of their pilgrim hostel. And the rooms and meals are exceptional -- "the best on the Camino between Geneva and Le Puy" according to the German guidebook Outdoor.
Multilingual sharing around the table this evening, thanks to the presence of Carina, German pilgrim on her way to Santiago. She gives a different dimension to our journey...
