Après une belle étape chez notre amie Mary à Versoix, nous avons accueilli dans notre "équipe pèlerine" Katja, une amie de Bethany. Une étape sous le signe de la pluie et qui a fait, au lieu des 18 km prévus... 25 km! Et on les sent ce soir...
Lors d'une pause à Carouge, nous avons eu un téléphone avec mon fils Luke et sa compagne Erin, qui nous annonçaient qu'ils allaient se marier !!! Génial !!! Une nouvelle qui nous a donné des ailes pour finir l'étape. Même si, après, nos corps nous ont rappelés à l'ordre...
After a wonderful stay with our Cursillo friend Mary, in Versoix, we welcomed to our 'pilgrim team" Katja, a friend of Bethany's. A stage marked by rain and which saw us walk, instead of the 18 km planned... 25 km! And we're feeling it this evening...
During a break in Carouge, we had a call from son Luke and his partner Erin, who announced to us that they are now engaged to be married!!! Great news!!! That gave us "wings" to finish the day's hike. Even though our bodies later on reminded us that we had pushed it a bit much...
